Eminent oral and maxillofacial surgeon with teaching experience of more than 16 years. He completed his BDS and MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, both from Dr. R Ahmed Dental College & Hospital, Kolkata, in 2001 and 2006 respectively. Currently he is working as a professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Haldia Institute of Dental Sciences and Research. Prof. Basu has been a PG guide since last 5 years. He has multiple publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals to his credit.
