He is a graduate of Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College & Hospital, Kolkata with more than 30 years of clinical and teaching experience. He has been a post graduate guide for the past 8 years. He had the privilege to work with Dr. Ram Nanda, USA in the early days of his career. He is trained in the Begg’s technique and has keen interest in all the newer developments in orthodontics. He has a been the editor of the Journal of Indian Dental Association, West Bengal State Branch winning the IDA Best State Journal Editor Award for two consecutive years and has numerous publications to his credit. He has special interest in Roth philosophy, cleft orthodontics and clinical photography. He is very supportive for innovative designs and research work.
