Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics is well equipped with state of the art infrastructure, which offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. We believe in 4D principles which stand for discipline, direction, dedication and determination.
The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. Department of Orthodontics deals in the treatment of patients with dentofacial deformities predominantly dental and skeletal malocclusions, cranio-facial deformities, particularly cleft lip and palate.
The Department works in close coordination with the Dept. of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery providing combined orthodontic and orthognathic surgery for adult patients with skeletal malocclusion and craniofacial deformity. The department also works in tandem with the department of Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics for treatment involving comprehensive dental rehabilitation of patients.
They are trained from various schools of thoughts of Orthodontics, thereby inculcating the best of all this in teaching and training programs of our department. The staff of the department have traveled widely and have won laurels at various International and National forums for their clinical and research presentations. The department has always strived to teach beyond syllabus, keeping in trend with the current research.
