PROSTHODONTICS AND CROWN & BRIDGE

The Department of Prosthodontics has been conducting a comprehensive training program in dental prosthetics for the undergraduate students and for students enrolled in the postgraduate program since its inception.

The Department of Prosthodontics provides the following treatment to all patients:

Complete Denture Prosthesis, Removable Partial Denture Prosthesis, Fixed Partial Denture Prosthesis, Implant Supported Prosthesis, Management and treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders, Advanced Aesthetic Rehabilitation and full mouth rehabilitation. Prosthodontist also has a social responsibility to rehabilitate people who have undergone extensive deformity of the face due to trauma or cancer surgery.

MISSION

1. To train Specialists in Prosthodontics, who are skilled clinicians with a strong research background
2. Continued advancement of knowledge in Prosthodontics through integration of basic and advanced sciences with clinical research
3. To provide high quality patient service by our Predoctoral and Postdoctoral students and by our faculty and staff
